Dr David Simpson

Dr David Simpson trained as a GP in the UK before bringing his practice to the Gold Coast. He's a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, which feeds his interest in women's health.

At Worongary he handles a broad mix of family medicine, chronic disease management (diabetes, asthma, heart disease), men's and women's health, vasectomy procedures, and Implanon insertion and removal. He's also trained through the ACCO in skin cancer surgery, advanced dermoscopy, and flaps and graft workshops, so he shares the skin cancer clinic load with Dr Ajay.

Outside of work, Dr Simpson is a keen cricketer. Patients appreciate his steady, thorough approach and the fact that he takes the time to explain what's going on without rushing.
