Cosmetic Medicine

All cosmetic work at the practice is done by Dr Ajay Kuriakose, who owns the practice and has trained in cosmetic injecting through ACMAS, dermatology through Glasgow, and skin cancer surgery through the ACCO. Every treatment starts with a proper medical consultation. The aim is always results that look natural, not dramatic.

Aesthetic consultations

Every cosmetic treatment starts with a proper consultation. Dr Ajay assesses your facial structure and skin, talks through what you're hoping to achieve, and explains what's actually possible. You'll go through the options, the cost, the recovery time, and any risks before any treatment is booked. There's no pressure to commit on the day.

Skin quality and regenerative treatments

If you want to improve the texture and hydration of your skin rather than change its shape, there are treatments designed exactly for that. These work by supporting your own collagen production. Results are progressive: skin gradually looks healthier and more even over weeks rather than the next morning.

Facial rejuvenation and profile balancing

Facial rejuvenation looks at the whole face rather than treating one wrinkle in isolation. Where age, volume loss, or asymmetry are concerns, we can bring things back into balance without surgery: cheeks, temples, lips, nose, chin, nasolabial folds. The goal is to look like you on a good day, not someone else.

Wrinkle treatments

Wrinkle treatments soften the fine lines and dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions, while leaving you free to actually express yourself. The aim is to look rested, not frozen.

Skin boosters

Skin boosters are injectable treatments that improve hydration and texture from inside the skin rather than adding volume. They're best for skin that's looking dull or feeling rough, and work over a few sessions to give a smoother, brighter result.

Bio-remodelling

Bio-remodelling treatments work beneath the skin's surface, supporting collagen production and natural firmness. The result is gradual: skin that looks healthier, feels firmer, and holds together better over time. It's a less dramatic option than fillers but it can be a more lasting improvement.

Cosmetic mole and wart removal

If you have a mole, wart, age spot or skin tag that bothers you cosmetically, Dr Ajay can remove it using the Ellman Surgitron device, which gives precise results with minimal scarring. Anything that's potentially cancerous goes through the skin cancer pathway instead, with a biopsy sent for histology.

Medical standards and safety

Every cosmetic treatment is done by a doctor registered with AHPRA, in a medical setting, with proper consultation, informed consent, and follow up afterwards. Whether a treatment is right for you is something Dr Ajay decides during your consultation, not something we sell off a menu.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cosmetic treatments do you offer?

Wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers including lip fillers, facial volume restoration, skin boosters (Rejuran), bio-remodelling for skin quality, profile balancing, and removal of cosmetic moles, warts, age spots and skin tags using the Ellman Surgitron device.

Are cosmetic injections safe?

Done properly, in a medical setting, by a doctor registered with AHPRA, yes. Every treatment is preceded by a consultation where Dr Ajay will go through what's involved, what the realistic results are, recovery time, and what could go wrong. You'll have a clear picture before any needle goes near you.

What is bio-remodelling?

It's a treatment that helps your skin's own collagen production rather than just filling it from the outside. Over time it improves texture, hydration and elasticity. It's a slower, more subtle approach than fillers.

How long do cosmetic results last?

It depends on the treatment. Wrinkle treatments usually last three to four months. Volume restoration with fillers can last twelve to eighteen months. Skin boosters and bio-remodelling are progressive, with results that build over weeks. Dr Ajay will give you a realistic expectation during the consultation.
